September's empties

Autumn is officially here and I kinda like it.... September for me is always a new beginning, a new season and stuff. Plussss, My birthday is on September!! I didn't really do much this month, because I'm saving money, there's a possibility of me moving out, going to pastry school the following month which is in a different city, far away from mine, so I need to save as much as I can, I didn't even buy a single makeup or skin care product that it wasn't really necessary for me. Now you know I am talking serious. Now, let's move to the empties of this month and to be honest those empties mostly have to do with samples.

Beauties on Fire : Fall theme

A new Beauties on Fire theme post is up once again, Thursday is officially my favorite day of the week, because is this time of the week that I'm having the collaboration's posts!! This week we're having fall theme, and I am totally in love with the warm colors I'm using this time of the year. For today's look, I am having a brown inspiration by the falling leaves, just wait and you'll find out what I'm talking about.

Beauties on Fire : Retro

A new week is here which means a new #beautiesonfire post!! Yay! This week we're having Retro as our theme, which was chosen by you on the Twitter poll. Actually it was chosen two weeks ago, your votes show us a draw between Back to school and Retro, yeah I had two weeks to prepare it but here I am, Wednesday afternoon creating this post literally on the last moment. Anyway about the look... When it comes to retro makeup the first name that pops in my head is Lana Del Rey, so I decided to create a look inspired by her.

Beauties on Fire : Back to school

It's Thursday so you know what that means, a new Beauties on Fire post!!! Finally, after 3 weeks that I wasn't as much active as I wanted to, I finally had my post on time! This week's theme is back to school. Gosh I missed school... Everything seemed so simple back then, it was nice... Anyway about today's post, I'm going to do a simple and quick makeup look, so let's get started.

August's empties

Heeey everyone!! Summer is gone for good.... It was a nice one .... I went to sea, met some new places, had my application for the pastry school done andddddd I am part of a new collaboration called Beauties on Fire. It was awesome, and those were just the highlights. Enough of that, I'm already late, like a week back for my monthly empties, I usually post that on the end of the month or at least at the 1st of the new month but this time I'm super late for this post. So let's stop wasting time and cut to the chase.

Beauties on Fire : Super Heroes/Villains

One new week's post from Beauties on Fire collaboration is on and I'm more than excited to tell you that it has to do with comics!! Yay super heroes/villains is the chosen theme by you guys (don't forget that you can vote on Twitter every week). I'm so excited about this topic, I'm a huge fan of both Marvel and DC who are both launching super heroes. I'm not a big fan of villains, sorry, so I will have a super hero look this week.

Beauties on Fire : 7 sins

I'm soooo bad. I didn't had my last theme post done and I'm doing this one at the last moment plus I was late finishing it.... I was so busy those days, collecting some paperwork because I wanted to apply for the pastry school, and I had my application done in a different city because I couldn't do that in mine, we don't have something like that here. So wish me luck and let's move to this week's theme.

Review : Tonymoly egg pore

Lately, I'm obsessed with Korean beauty products!! I have started buying some of them and still plenty on my wish list. Just waiting the right time to move to a purchase. This obsession began with an egg. The Tonymoly egg pore steam balm to be precisely. I went to Sephora one day and when I saw it, I knew I wanted that product. I saw that there were 3 eggs, each of them were one step, but I have been told there's no need to use them all combinatianaly if I didn't wish and that I could buy what eggs I wanted to. Firstly, I bought that steam balm, which happens to be step 1. I was like, I will try that one out and if I will like it, then I'll buy the tightening cooling pack, which is step 2.

Beauties on Fire : Bold

I have to be honest with you.... I had no idea what should I do about this week's Beauties on Fire theme post. I really don't know what bold makeup means.... I am not a fan of labeling makeup looks so I'm not that informed about names and stuff of each look. So I did a research on pinterest to see what's going on and I saw that this look mostly has to do with intensity. A dark lipstick and unique eyshadow mixes are the recipe for a nice bold look.

Beauties on Fire : Movie - Book

This week's theme was a tricky one for me. I'm talking about #BeautiesOnFire collaboration theme post. I'm not a big fan of books or movies, I still watch cartoons and I really appreciate a nice animated movie. All the other girls were excited about this topic but I was like "Whaaaaaat? What am I supposed to do?" my favorite movie is Lion King and I was like I can't do a lion makeup, can I? I actually decided to try it. It's not Halloween yet and I don't have the right makeup tools to do so but I am going just try and we'll see what I will look like.

Products I regret buying

Throughout the years I have bought many products that are either useless or a big disappointment. For some reason I kept these products (I'm not a hoarder....really....) and for some other reason I bought new ones. So today I'm sharing with you my big purchase failures.

Sunday-Funday, the body edition

I did a couple Sunday-Funday posts before but it was only about face and I was like why don't I have a body edition yet? What's better than a relaxing Sunday, taking care of your body and relief all the week's stress. So I finally did it, better later than never right? As a skin care enthusiast I am posting today about my favorite skincare routine at the moment!

So let's begin.

Step 1: Wash your body. I'm going to talk about exfoliating in a minute so a nice clean skin is the perfect base. I am using Korres Japanese Cherry Blossom, which I adore as I have already told you on my July's empties.
Step 2: Exfoliate. Remove all those dead cells that are no use for you anymore. I just love the way that an exfoliated skin feels. Sooooo smooth! I'm using the Body Farm coconut body scrub today which is one of the best body exfoliators I have ever used, and it smells awesome. It's a shame I can't eat it... Oh well...
Step 3: Moisturize. Step off the shower, dry your skin and then put some lotion on it. I'm using the Bepanthol Body Lotion which I think is perfect for the hot summer days. Not as perfect as the Korres Mango Candy but still nice. It's light weighted, fast absorvative, leaves a cool feeling and moisturizes good.
That's pretty much it about the body edition, I hope that if you try my routine, it will be to you as pleasant as it is to me.
What do you guys do on your relaxing day? Do you like reading, listening to music or you just pamper your skin like I do?

Beauties on Fire : Disney Princesses

This week's Beauties on Fire theme is coming from fairy-tales. We're all becoming Disney Princesses!! Every little girl's dream is to become a princess one day, oh well....mine was, but it's kinda unrealistic. You never know what surprises might life has for you but there's no room for everyone to find a prince. Especially nowadays that there's few royal families remained. So many girls, so few single princes. So that's when makeup comes and turns the frog into a princess. This is a powerful tool, use it wisely.

July's empties

Wow! An other month is gone and the end of summer is coming, one month left! Can you even believe that? We're actually going to say goodbye to the summer. But let's talk about this month. This was a great one. First of all, this month you have been introduced to the Beauties on Fire collaboration, and we had our two posts up. Second of all(spoiler alert), I have been introduced to some Korean products and I cannot wait to give you the reviews! I am not sure yet whether I should give a typical review, or a Sunday-Funday post telling you the way I'm using them. Anyway, I'll figure it out. Let's talk empties.

Review: Shiseido UV Protective Liquid Foundation

This is my first foundation which is not from a drugstore. I wanted to try a Shiseido product for a looooong time and finally I got it, with a discount actually, 30% off. I have been informed that a shop was having some offers on some brands and Shiseido was one of them. So I decided to buy a foundation, wasn't sure which one but I explained what I needed to the lady on the shiseido stand. I still have the Vichy Dermablend foundation with a lot of product left in it.

I always want a foundation that provides full coverage but doesn't give a heavy feeling on the skin. That one is actually medium coverage so I use extra concealers to cover some flaws sometimes and feels kinda sticky on my skin. I mostly use this when the sun is up because it has SPF30 that protects from UVA/UVB rays, which I appreciate. The lady who sold it to me said that it is water resistant so I can wear it at the beach as well. I'm not planning to do so because it has an orange undertone while my skin has a yellow undertone so you can understand that it's not my perfect match foundation plus it's kinda darker so I'll look ridiculous wearing something like that at the beach. Now I'm having my clothes to cover the rest of my skin color but that won't happen there. Yes, I bought the lighter color called light ivory, of that range but it's still not light enough for my pale skin.

Beauties On Fire : Summer Style

Platia Ammos beach, Larisa, Greece
This week's Beauties on Fire theme post is summer style. So I will create for you my favorite makeup look for the summer. Besides that, I'm going to share with you some of my favorite skincare tips for this season. It's kinda irrelevant, considering that the post's name includes the word style but when I hear summer, I think sunny beaches (that's why I chose this particular pic above)  and sunscreen. Call me phyco but on the daytime I won't leave the house without having sunscreen on the uncovered, without clothes skin. I'm a pale girl living in a sunny country and in contrary to some other ladies I don't enjoy melting my skin under the sun. Sun is good, sun provides us vitamin D and that's all. We shouldn't overdo it people, that's never good.

Review: Artdeco Eyeshadow Base

I have never had a review of a primer before, it's mostly because I don't use them that much. In the past, I used to use a face primer daily, The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimizer to be more specific. Now I'm using the POREfessional by Benefit but only when I feel it's needed. But this one? This is the first eyeshadow primer I have ever used.

I think that this is because I wasn't that much of an eyeshadow person. I was wearing eyeshadow only when I was on a night out, or when I was invited to weddings and stuff. But, for about a year, I put eyeshadow every time I do my makeup. So I decided to start using a primer. Before that, I was thinking that a primer is useless. I was so wrong you guys, it's a must! Especially if you want your eyeshadow to be there for hours and hours.

Beauties on Fire: Classic Beauty

Our very first group theme post is here. Yes, I'm talking about #BeautiesOnFire project! If you are just staring at your screen, wondering what I'm talking about then click here to know more and then come back to see the rest of this post. About this subject, this week's project is "Classic Beauty". When I saw that this was the winning bid, I was thinking that I should create a look with a nice cat eye and the redest red lipstick ever. I was thinking that I should recreate Marilyn Monroe's or Brigitte Bardot's look. I wasn't sure if this would be a good post or out of my league. You see, I always enjoy adding a personal touch, not just recreate the look. Then I thought that classic beauty isn't just on the '60s. Another period that I like is the '20s. I like that dramatic eye look that was in back then and the fact that you had just a blusher on your cheeks and nothing more. But, this is a look that cannot be used nowadays. So I was thinking.... What if I would recreate this look with today's trends. Let's see, will I make it or will I just hit the rock bottom?

A piece of advice for acne prone skin

I have acne for about 3 years. When I was 19 I saw my skin changing and start becoming acne prone. Since then, I have visited a lot of dermatologists, a gynecologist-just to check my hormones, and a plastic surgeon. None of them helped me. No, I'm not a weirdo they just didn't. Finally I don't have any hormonal issue so the gynecologist couldn't do something to help me, the plastic surgeon told me that he would order some products from the US that would cost me 600€. I started laughing jus hearing that. Really, I was like alright I don't carry that kind of money with me,maybe because I don't have that kind of money. Like at all. couldn't move to a purchase like that, I didn't even have a job to pay for that. Anyways last but not least the dermatologists. Each one of the dermatologists I visited had his very own combinational recipe to give to their patients with acne. It was like a rootine for them. None of them tested my skin to see what kind of acne I have in order to give me the right prescription. So they weren't that  helpful. One of them actually wanted to give me pills, which I didn't want to but he wouldn't respect my opinion. I don't like pills that much so I don't take pills very often. But he wouldn't get it, I tried really but I cannot keep up with someone that I cannot communicate with.

June's empties

Wow! The first month of summer is gone for good. Can you even believe that? I didn't realize how fast the days have passed. It's impressive actually. Anyway, let me begin with my short post of this month's empties.

Review: Vichy Aqualia Thermal-Light cream

Yes, I have an acne prone skin.
No, I don't use treatment creams.
Why? The do absolutely nothing to help my skin.
So what do I use on my daily routine? Moisturizing creams, duuuh....

Review: Nuxe Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm

Yes I know, it's summer and lips aren't cracked so I'm supposed to have a review like that on winter. Nope.... Not really.... Not in my case at least... My lips are cracked all the time. Uh huh that's right, even in summer time and there aren't many products to help me. I'm usually using the Neutrogena repair lip balm which is a miracle contained in a little box but this time I decided to try out the Nuxe lip balm which promises to help your lips.

Sunday-Funday, for me at least (pt 2)

Heeeeeeey guys! A relaxing Sunday post is here again. I am having this post today because I kinda changed my routine. Mostly I changed the products I am using. You see, I love trying new beauty products, plus I always change my skin care routine because I don't want my skin to get used to the products I'm using. When this happens, the cream doesn't do the job it's supposed to.

Sunbathing, yay or nay?

Paliouri beach, Chalkidiki, Greece
Today I am not going to tell you about beauty products, this post is mostly about skin care and health. You see, summer is a hot, sunny season that most of us enjoy spend time outside and sunbathing for hours. This, sometimes might be harmful for our skin and health. So why would we do that to our skin?

My top 5 summer lipstick colors

Summer is a season of the "natural"  makeup. Even non-touring is in now. Go figure.... No more contouring for us. Yeeeeah right. I like contouring at the moment so I ain't gonna follow a fashion telling me not to do something that I like. I mean this is all about makeup. Doing what we like to do and play with different colors and combinations we like.

May's empties

One more month is gone. It was a great one! The previous week I had my one month blog anniversary and I couldn't be less than excited(post). But this month some great and some not - so-much great products are gone as well. So here are my empties and some mini reviews.

Let's begin with the face

The Body Shop Aloe Eye Defense

One of my favorite eye moisturizers! I said it on the last's month empties (April's)  and I'll say that again. It's hard to find an eye moisturizer let alone a good one. Most of the eye creams are made for anti aging but I don't think I need something like that in my age. So I'm searching and trying new eye cream moisturizers but this is by far one of the best! I'm going to buy that again in a couple of days.

Sostar Moisturizing Face Cream with Aloe, Argan Oil and Urea

Not a big fan of that cream. It has everything I need except it cannot be absorbed fast from my skin. It is inexpensive, I bought it for 3€, which is good, I mean it's a moisturizing cream, it has no reason to be expensive. It is paraben free and not tested on animals, these are the main factors that made me purchase this product. I would not buy that again, but I would like to try this company's line called "Το Γάλα" (=The Milk), which is enriched with donkey milk, aloe vera, calendula and urea. I was using a soap bar with donkey milk like a month ago and I was impressed by the results I saw on my skin so really want to try a cream as well.

Cien Volume Mascara, Extreme Lashes (post)

One of my favorite mascaras. I said a lot about that product and I tried to keep it as good as new with my trick (post) but enough is enough and now it's gone. But no worries, I have my stash. I have 2 more to go and both of them are shield so I won't be missing it as much as I should. I would buy this mascara again and again and again. When I'll see at the Lidl supermarket they'll have it on sale I am going to buy some more, just in case, you know what I mean.

Bath and body

Dove invisible dry deodorant

It is said to last for 48 hours but I haven't tested that. To be honest I don't believe that any deodorant lasts that much. It is called invisible because it doesn't leave marks on the clothes, on the under hand area. It is written on that it is tested on 100 colors. I tested that one,not all hundred colors obviously, just the colors I have, and I have to say that is true but don't put that much of the product on your armpit because it might leave a little bit of stain. I would buy that again but not soon because I bought that on a buy two in the price of one offer. I actually don't use my other deodorant daily, I use this more in cases that I need to wear a clothe and I don't want stains on it. I use a Noxzema on a daily basis, which one I love and have been using for years.

perky byly Depil

These are depilatory strips for the body. I'm mostly using Veet but I thought I should try something new this time. They're very good actually, they have 12 strips, they're cheaper than Veet, they're made by ecological ingredients and they smell like chocolate. So nice.... I will definitely buy it again. Definitely value for money and I always prefer ecological products over any other kind of products.

C-THRU Coral Dream,  eau de toilette

A budget friendly brand with a couple of nice perfumes. I used to use this brand mostly when I was in high school but I still buy it now and then. It's lovely with a nice and light smell. I mostly use the coral dream but C-THRU has a couple of other cologne lines that I like. It is not very strong, as it needs extra spraying on the day in order to feel it's there. I think I will buy it again.

Personal care

Vademecum complet

No, I haven't misspelled it, that's the way it's written. Maybe it's French or something. It says that it has pro vitamin complex and protects the gums and the teeth and whatever. I don't care I have sensitive teeth so I should have bought a toothpaste that protects them and only them as that is my problem. Besides that it's a good toothpaste, cleans the teeth nicely, but it's the design I didn't like because it has a weird big lid that's inconvenient. I won't buy that again because I want a toothpaste for sensitive teeth.

Beauty News : Illuminate by Ashley Tisdale

Some great news for the Tizzies around the world. Finally Ashley Tisdale has her makeup line available for purchase! I'm sure all our Tiz makeup addicts couldn't wait for that day. So let's have a closer look at that line.

Ash has created two palettes,  Beach Goddess and Night Goddess both having 12 color for the eyes and cheeks. Ashley said at one of her interviews that there are no rules in those palettes. Everyone can use whatever color of the palette they want and put it as an eyeshadow or as a contouring or highlighter or anything they want. That's something that I already do to be honest with my other palettes and suits me perfect. Besides the palettes she has launched some creamy cheak & lip tint and lip glosses, 6 shades each.

The cosmetics are budget friendly, considering that the palettes cost $18.00 and the blushers/lip tint $9.00 and so do the lip glosses. I haven't find the shipping costs on the Illuminate website but considering that it is made by bh cosmetics I could guess that the fees are written there and everyone can check out what it would cost them depending on their zip code.

You can check out the cosmetics at illuminatecosmetics.com/ and some other stuff like behind the scenes. The products are cruelty free, bh cosmetics bear the leaping bunny symbol.

Sadly I don't owe any Illuminate cosmetics yet, but I am thinking of buying a couple of lip products because all the colors included the palettes I already have another lines, yes but I don't need something like that at the moment. What about you? Do you guys want to buy Ashley's line or have you already made your order? If so what which of them?

Review: Nivea Clear-up Strips

I have never used something like this before. So I can't compare it with a similar product. But I wouldn't say that I have a positive review nor negative. My review and opinion is closer to neutral.

So let me begin. I have a couple of large blackheads and many small ones. So I decided to check this product out and see if it could help me get rid of my blackheads overnight. The product promises to take away the blackheads and the oils of the skin, deeply cleaning it. So yes I had to try it. It was written on that it's for all skin types and that was enriched with citric acid, which helps tighten the pores, so I moved to a purchase. The box contains 4 nose strips and 2x2 chin and forehead strips and it cost me 5€.

Usage:

  1. Wet the area you want to put the strip on
  2. Put the strip, it is being activated by the water
  3. Let the strip on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Carefully remove the strip.
Each strip is for single use only.

It was written on the box that those strips must be used only once per week but on the inside little packages that included the strips, it was written that the strips can be used not more often than three days, which made me understand that I could use them more than once per week. I didn't know what to do and when I try a new product I want to use it correctly so I decided to send a message to Nivea but I never heard back from them. After that I was like ok, maybe it would be better if I will use this one weekly.

1st time I used it

I did all I had to do and when I removed it just a few blackheads were removed from my nose, only one from my forehead and nothing at all from my chin. I was curious why this happened, because it's not that I have a very clear skin, even though I wash it three times a day.I can see my blackheads, and if I try to remove them with my finger it would work. So why the strips weren't working? That's why I decided to put a strip in my mom's nose just to find out that it worked on her. That made me decide to keep on using it. Maybe I did something wrong the first time.

2nd time

This time I did something wrong for sure. I used it only on my nose but I wet it so much that it wouldn't dry out not even after 20 minutes had it on and of course when I took it off nothing had been removed. This time it was totally my mistake I have to recognize that.

3rd time

This time I was very careful in order to do it right. I put on the full set, nose, chin and forehead. So when I removed it I saw that this time worked on my nose and forehead but it didn't remove anything from my chin, but when I say it worked I mean it only removed the small blackheads not the bigger ones that much.

Now I have only one strip left, for the nose. I don't want to give up on this product from the beginning because I am not sure yet whether I made mistakes using this or it doesn't do what it promises.

    REVIEW: VICHY DERMABLEND

First of all I want to make it clear. I don't appreciate a light coverage foundation. If I want light coverage I have a bb cream that does the same thing. What I like is a medium to full coverage foundation that it doesn't give a heavy feeling to skin as most of that kind of foundations do. So that's why today I'm reviewing that God send foundation from Vichy.

I don't have a very good skin, as it is acne prone. Like I haven't said that enough. Well... Oh well..... I have to embrace my flaws or whatever. But when I don't want to embrace them, I want them to be covered. Wearing make-up doesn't help my skin that much, I can see it when I am cleansing it, after a few hours of being all dolled up, it's dull and I have a couple of new zits here and there or just my old ones got bigger.

The thing is that I love make-up, I'm trying to avoid wearing it as much as I can but it's just impossible for me. I cannot think that I will go out for coffee with friends or a girls night out or even on a job interview without having my make-up done.

So these are the reasons why foundation is so important to me.

Enough said about myself let's cut to the chase.I want to talk about the Vichy Dermablend fluid foundation. I know that Vichy is a label that can be trusted by every woman older or younger. It is actually one of my favorites at the moment. This foundation is said to stay for 16 hours but I haven't been wearing it for such a long time. I am also using a moisturizer that I am going to have a review for it asap because I think it deserves it. Well about the foundation. Finally.....

    Pros

    • It is medium to full coverage
    • Can be found easily at a drugstore or a cosmetics shop
    • It is tested on sensitive skin
    • It is allergy tested
    • It doesn't have parabens
    • It is a corrective fluid foundation
    • I use it without concealer as it covers everything needed

    Cons

    • It doesn't have a big variety of colors (they're four, as far as I know,:15 opal,25 nude, 35 sand, 45 gold)
    • Kind of expensive, considering that it costs close to 25€ and we can find way cheaper foundations with a good quality
    • Vichy is not cruelty free

I've been using this for about a year and I'm completely satisfied. It is surely one of my best friends. I heard that a new Dermablend foundation was released, the 3D Correction with SPF25 which is for oily and acne prone skin. Sadly, I haven't tried that yet but when this baby is finished I'm going to buy the 3D for sure. I think that we're made for each other.

Mario Badescu products vs acne, my story

I have a great problem with acne since I was 19 years old. I tried almost everything and different kind of products but nothing seemed to help me. I have a post that I talk about it in depth. One day I was searching for acne treatments so I found Mario Badescu. They have that questionnaire on their site that depending the answers you give they send to you, free of charge, some samples of their products that would help you. They are that confident about the results that their products will give you. Unfortunately they don't ship in Greece, where I live, so I had to find out by my self.

First I bought the Acne Facial Cleanser and it was the best!!!!!! I saw improvement on my skin very fast. The skin feels so nice after the use, so clean. But the best part is that not only my zits were reduced, but my blackheads looked better as well. I saw immediate change of my face, for the better of course. So after three or four days of using it i decided to buy the Glycolic Gel.

I don't really like acids and staff but this thing does magic. Yeah that's right, it's like the best night treatment I've ever had. I sleep with large zits and the morning after they're reduced by 60% (more or less). My skin is smoother, and so are my skars. They're not vanished but they'll get there eventually, well..... I hope.

These are the best products I've tried so far for the acne treatment and I'm planning to buy some more Mario Badescu products. Do you have any products that helped you improved your skin? If so leave your comments down below to tell me your story, opinions and advices.

Mario Badescu products are not tested on animals.

      Makeup products under 10€

I always love a good bargain, especially when it has to do with a good product. Here are some nice makeup products that cost under 10€.

      L. A. Girl PRO bb cream, 6.70€: I bought this from Beauty Bay a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't sure whether this would be a good cream or not because I haven't seen any reviews of it anywhere so I had no idea what to expect. I have to admit that I made the right choice buying it. It is a light weighted cream that I can wear all day long without feeling it in my skin like many creams like that usually do. I have a pale skin so the color number I bought is GBB941-FAIR. It is 30 ml.

Essence... all I need concealer pallette, 4.49€ (post) :
I really love this pallette, it has all the colors I need for my makeup and has a good quality as well! It is 6g. It is made in Europe so it's not supposed to be tested on animals.

Cien Volume Mascara Extreme Lashes, 1.99€: These products can only be found on a supermarket called Lidl. They're so cheap but everything I tried so far from Cien is very good. I bought this mascara because of its price. Actually I bought two more when I went to Lidl again and I bought a couple of lipsticks that I'm reviewing here, in this post down below. They totally worth the try and I would pay more for that mascara easily! Actually I have bought mascaras close to 20€ that can't beat this one. I use it mostly when I do my nude make up because it has that natural finish. It is 9ml. It is made in Europe so it's supposed not to be tested on animals.

Manhattan Khol Kajal Eyeliner n17, 3.75€. It is made in Europe as long as I know so you know, animals.
      Davis Accent Lipline pencil n 030-008-011, 1€

I know Manhattan cosmetics for years and whatever I have bought
are in good price and have good quality. I chose to buy the grey Khol Kajal Eyeliner because it's a color I didn't have but wanted for a while. I thought that a grey eyeliner would be better if soft because it would be good for a smoky finish. It's very smooth and easy to apply, it's my favorite this period and I use it daily!

To be honest, I've never heard for Davis Accent cosmetics before I bought the lip liners. A friend of mine introduced me to this label and actually she told me that many of her friends are using those lip liners and they're satisfied, so I decided to try a lip liner. I didn't know how much it costs so when I saw the price I was surprised. Well I put it on and it was great! I bought two more and I'm planning to buy some more in the near future.

      Golden Rose 2000 Lipstick n126, 2.90€,  4.2g
Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick n7, 3.50€, 4.2g
Cien Lipstick n 27 Natural Kiss - 36 Matt Rose, 1.90€. Made in Europe
      Nyx Matte Lipstick n MLS32 Siren, 8.45€, 4.5g
KORRES Cherry Lipgloss n 22 Rose, 9.80€. Made in Europe

Well, from where should I begin? My favorite lipstick is by far the Nyx Matte Lipstick(post )! It's not as cheap as the others I'm posting but it worths every penny and more! So stable on the lips and such a pretty color! Just love it!!!!!!!!!!! It's not animal tested.
One more of my favorite beauty labels with economical prices is Golden Rose. It has so many colors to choose and such good prices that makes you want them all.
Cien, is a label I told about the mascara and now let's talk about the lipsticks. They're nice, not the best but as good or even better than some other lipsticks I that cost more than 10€. The KORRES lipgloss is very good and stable on the lips for a lipgloss. I really like KORRES when it comes to make up and I love the fact that the products are all natural and as long as I know not tested on animals. I heard some where that KORRES products are being sold to China, where all cosmetics and makeup products must be tested on animals but not sure what KORRES is doing.

      Review:Bio Oil

Maybe you've heard a lot about this product, maybe you heard nothing. So for you who don't know let me introduce you the Bio Oil. It's a product that promises to reduce scars, wrinkles, stretchmmarks, uneven skin tone and dehydrated skin.I heard some good reviews about it so I decided to buy it. I hoped it would help me with some scars I have on my face from acne. I was expecting for a miracle to happen using it but it didn't help me that much to be honest. The instructions was: use it twice a day. After half of the bottle I used I could see my skin more moisturized than it used to be but the scars were still there.  So I gave it to my mom to try it, maybe it would help her with her wrinkles. Actually it did! The results were unbelievable! My mum is not the kind of person that would pay a lot for a cream so she
doesn't buy cosmetics that help her with the aging skin. But this oil did help her and actually she asked me to buy her another bottle when the first one was finished. How did it help her? Her wrinkles were smoother and so was her skin. Her skin looked better and moisturized, she could feel it more moisturized too! Now she put it daily to her skin before her cheap cream. Bio Oil is 60ml and costs about 12€.

An other way to use it. My skin doesn't "like" all creams so it don't absorb them. Well I know this trick. When a cream isn't being absorbed by your skin put a couple drops of oil in it. So when I bought a cream that wasn't being absorbed by my skin I putted 3-4 drops of Bio Oil in it and I mixed it well. After that I put the cream on my face to see if the oil helped it. I was pleased to see that it did help the cream and from now on I wouldn't have to throw away all the creams that couldn't be absorbed by my skin!
